Niall Mullen has been involved in the antiques business in Ireland for the last twenty years. After managing an established shop on Francis St. for eight years he embarked on a solo career in which he has established himself as a leading proponent of 20th century furniture and object d'art, a task which is not difficult considering Niall's personal passion and love for unique objects.
Having traded mainly from a warehouse, Niall opened a stylish retail shop on Francis street in 2006. This outlet specialises in Art Deco, with a particular emphasis on dining, living furniture, smaller eccentric objects and cocktail items. Niall is a member of the Irish Antique Dealer Association and has subsequently become a member of the ruling council.
Niall exhibits at four antique fairs annually in the R.D.S and strives to have a different and diverse stock range at each event. At the spring fair and the I.A.D.A Fair in September, Niall exhibits a more conventional 18th and 19th century selection also of the highest quality.
Niall has co-presented the popular RTE series "The Dealers" for the last two years. Along with his co-presenter, George Stacpoole, they have been known to make the occasional profit, but fundamentally the programme displays the diverse nature of a thriving business in Ireland.
Niall has a broad knowledge of the antiques business and is available for advice pertaining to all matters including interior design, valuations, restoration and sourcing of specific items.
